Regulations for the laying of the SCS in the data center StoreData

THE ORDER AND RULES OF WORK USING THE STOREDATA LLC PROCESS PLATFORMS LOCATED AT: 32 BLDG A NIZHEGORODSKAYA STR., MOSCOW

  1. USING THE PERSONAL ACCOUNT WITH MY.STOREDATA.RU.
  • The procedure for submitting requests: 
  • in order to interact with the Contractor, the Customer is given access to the personal account with my.storedata.ru. No requests and appeals shall be made by phone or mail.
  • in order to access the Contractor's process platform, the Customer shall select “Entrance of persons and vehicles” in the “Create request” section of the personal account and complete all the mandatory fields as per the template. Obtaining an access pass shall not mean that you are allowed to bring in and remove any equipment.
  • in order to bring / remove any equipment to/from the Contractor's process site, the Customer shall select “Bring equipment in” or “Carry equipment out,“respectively, in the “Create request” section of the personal account. The request shall be completed as per the template. 
  • in order to perform any process operations with the equipment by the Contractor's service desk, the Customer shall select “Technical Support” in the "Create request" section of the personal account. The request shall be completed as per the template.

In order to request the installation and/or dismantling of a connection line on the Contractor's process site, the Customer shall select “Order connection line,” “Dismantle connection line” or “Preliminary cost calculation“ in the “Create request“ section of the personal account. The request shall be completed as per the template according to the required connection line type. 

  • The Contractor's service desk shall reserve the right to reject any incorrectly completed or incomplete request.
  1. BRINGING EQUIPMENT IN THE CONTRACTOR'S PROCESS SITE: 
  • The Customer, using the personal account with storedata, shall submit a request to the Contractor's administrative service, indicating:
  • full list of the equipment (indicating models and serial numbers) to be installed on the process site of the Contractor;
  • date and time of delivery of the equipment to the Contractor's process site;
  • list of the representatives who will deliver the equipment (full name, passport details);
  • details of the Customer's vehicle in order to issue an access pass indicating: make in accordance with what is indicated in the vehicle registration certificate, license plate number, date and time of entry;
  • scope of the work on equipment accommodation and installation to be performed by each Party;   
    • The process platform of the Contractor located at: 32 BldgA Nizhegorodskaya, Moscow shall be accessed only by the Customer's specialists with at least an electrical safety group 3 to perform the work on equipment placement and installation (as well as maintenance and dismantling). 
    • The conditions of equipment accommodation: 
  • all works of the Customer's representatives on the process site shall be allowed only if the project of equipment placement and switching of the equipment have been agreed upon with the Contractor's engineering team.
  • equipment design, installation and adjustment work shall be performed by the organizations that have the appropriate licenses and access to the process site's premises.
  • in order to prepare for the work on the Customer's equipment installation, the following documents shall be submitted to the engineering team of the process site: equipment layout, list of the equipment to be installed, indicating power consumption by each type of equipment.
  • equipment shall provide for the possibility of being accommodated inside a standard 19-inch telecommunications cabinet.
  • power to the telecommunications rack shall be supplied using two independent beams: 

- Beam A is guaranteed and uninterrupted (i.e. it is recommended for the connection of equipment items with one power supply). 

- Beam B provides a guaranteed power supply, yet it is not uninterrupted (equipment with two power supplies is recommended to be connected to Beam A and Beam B). 

  • equipment shall be installed in cabinets considering cold and hot aisles on the process site. The cooling air shall be taken from the cold aisles and the return flow of heated air from the equipment shall be channelledto the hot corridor. 
  • server installed in the rack shall be placed on a sled or special 19-inch shelves. Installing equipment items one above another shall be prohibited.
  • we do not recommend to install any equipment items in the rack between integer number of units.
  • when installing equipment in racks, provide for arranging some free space between servers.
  • to arrange for accounting, control, and operational maintenance, all the equipment items shall be subject to mandatory labeling, with the assignment of unique identifiers. Further processing of equipment-related requests shall only be processed with the indication of those identifiers.
  • if it is necessary to transfer any equipment items to the Customer's another rack, information about the new location of the equipment shall be communicated to the duty engineers of the Contractor.

The Customer's equipment can be brought in under acceptance certificates only if the Customer has their original copies issued in duplicate and stamped. 

  1. REMOVING EQUIPMENT FROM THE CONTRACTOR'S PROCESS PLATFORM: 
  • The Customer, using the personal account with storedata, shall submit a request to the Contractor's administrative service, indicating: 
  • full list of the equipment (including its serial number and model) to be dismantled and removed from the process site of the Contractor;
  • date and time of removing the equipment from the Contractor's process site;
  • list of the representatives who will dismantle and remove the equipment (full name, ID number);
  • details of the Customer's vehicle in order to issue a pass to drive across the territory (make in accordance with what is indicated in the vehicle registration certificate, license plate number);
  • scope of the work on equipment dismantling to be performed by each Party.

The Customer's equipment can be removed only if the Customer has the original copies of the acceptance certificates issued in duplicate and stamped. 

  1. CONNECTION LINE INSTALLATION AND DISMANTLING ON THE CONTRACTOR'S PROCESS SITE: 
  • Connection line installation and dismantling on the Contractor's process site: 
  • The Customer may switch the equipment placed in one and the same telecommunications rack by itself;
  • The Customer shall not install/dismantle connection lines (optical, low-current, etc.) between racks on the process site using external cable trays;
  • patch cables (power, optical, low-current, etc.) shall be placed inside the Customer's rack so as not to interfere with the intake of cold and hot air bleed, i.e. in compliance with the principle of cold and hot aisles.
    • Should there be the need for a connection line (hereinafter, the CL),  theCustomer shall, using the personal account with storedata, submit a request to the Contractor's administrative service, indicating:  
  • cable type;
  • quantity of connection lines;
  • numbers of racks from and to which the CL is to be installed;
  • connectors;
  • comments (if applicable).
    • The connection line shall be installed within the deadlines as follows: twisted pair, within 24 hours, and optical fiber, within 5 working days.
  1. PERFORMING PROCESS OPERATIONS ON THE CUSTOMER'S EQUIPMENT INSTALLED ON THE CONTACTOR'S SITE. 

 

  • The Customer, using the personal account with storedata, shall submit a request to the Contractor's administrative service, indicating: 
  • registration number of the Customer's equipment item;
  • rack in which the Customer's equipment is placed;
  • operation description.
  • The time of response to a process operation request shall not exceed 20 minutes. If the operation involving the Customer's equipment requires more time, the Contractor's administrative service shall notify the Customer of the need to increase the time and further inform the latter about the results of the operation.
  • Requests can be generated only via the personal account with my.storedata.ru. No requests by calling the technical support service shall be allowed.
  1. SUBMITTING REQUESTS FOR THE ENTRY TO THE CONTRACTOR'S SITE BY THE CUSTOMER'S REPRESENTATIVE(S). 
  • The Customer, using the personal account with storedata, shall submit a request to the Contractor's administrative service, indicating: 
  • full name of the Customer's representative;
  • ID number of the Customer's representative;
  • date and time of visiting the Contractor's site;
  • make in accordance with what is indicated in the vehicle registration certificate, license plate number, date and time of entry to the Contractor's territory;
  • comments (if applicable).
  • Both the passport (series and number) and a driver's license (number) of the Customer's representative can be used as an ID. It is not allowed to use a photo or scanned pages of the passport during the identification procedure.
  1. ACCOMMODATING EQUIPMENT IN THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS CLOSET'S CABINETS ON THE SITE OF STOREDATA LLC: 
  • the Customer's representative shall be prohibited from wearing any outerwear and shoulder bags while in the telecommunications closet;
  • optical fibrework completed, if there is a need for re-laying / laying in a different fashion or any other action resulting in the extraction of fibers from the organizer, it is necessary to: leave a minimum fiber margin from the rack front and not to leave the fibers outside the organizer; 
  • the Customer's representatives shall be prohibited from manipulating the optical fibers of other Customers, if not consented to by the data center representatives;
  • accommodating any passive equipment in the telecommunications closet shall be allowed in a pre-selected unit number and rack.
  • the stock of the main optical cable is not allowed to be placed inside the telecommunication cabinet or near it. The minimum margin shall be suspended above the cabinet in a pre-designated place.
